1 year after covid

Well, it has been the year of covid. Very few shows last year as everyone was trying to learn what might work, what would work and what did work. Beginning this year in a much better fashion.

I have an image, “Sixteen Degrees in Seattle,” in a juried show entitled “Winter Small Works,” with pieces less than 12” on a side at Alex Ferrone Gallery in Long Island. Works are for sale at ‘winter small prices.’

Alex is preparing a “Meet the Artist Zoom Talk,” for March 24 & March 25 from 7-8 PM EDT. I will be one of the artists in the Wednesday presentation. This should be fun!

I have donated a photograph, “Nigella,” to the Studio Channel Islands fundraiser entitled, Collectors Choice 2021. For a minimum ticket of $300, guests are able to select 1 piece of work from the donated pieces,

Opening (virtually) April 9 is the Starry Starry Night juried competition at the Tubac Center of the Arts in Tubac, AZ. I have two abstract pieces accepted. These are part of a body of work, entitled “Transient Atmospheric Phenomena,” created by scanning a stainless steel sheetpan. Transient Atmospheric Phenomena is the official U.S. Air Force name for UFOs.
